hey. wow, joy u wrote a lot. but u seldomly write in this blog anyways. lol.. hope you're doing good. so, yeah. hm...this weather was very weird. it's like.. MAKE UP YOUR MIND. do you want it sunny or do you want it rainy? it was pissing me off, because i would go to school, and the weather is cold. then it get freakin sunny, then it dumps a whole load of water. arghh.. anyways. this week was all good despite the weather. work is good. school is going well. i was so tired on friday. 'cause this week was kind of stressin. but thursday was fun. went to something corporate w/ juliana theory, vendetta red, and seal train concert. pretty good. the lights were hypnotizing me.. so i was getting tired. anyways... something corporate is awesome. they're so good. and took a picture with will. it was funny, cause i was looking at my side, and there was this grip of girls that we're taking pictures with him, and i was wondering where he was from. little did i know, he was from something corporate. he's so gorgeous. haha.. anyways. i'm currently listening to.. something corporate, "i want to save you." anways. it was an experience i won't forget. haha.. we were in the crowd, and i felt so clusterphobic. then we started swaying, it was pretty scary, and fun at the same time. oh.. and dude edison and i were talking bout this guy behind the rail, and wondering if he was in the band. and he was pretty hott to. it was cool, he was part of vendetta red. ahh.. he really gets into his guitar. anyways, i saw him later, by the merchandise area. gosh, and he was with his vendetta crew. gosh, he's cute. i couldn't go up to him, and say "hey" haha.. anyways. yeah, thanks ren for telling me bout the concert, and renae for driving. okae.. that's it. bye

hey...wow...no one's written in here in week...and i haven't written in here for over 2 weeks...so i thought that i'd write a little something something in here and catch you up with how things have been going with me. well let's see...i was just home about two weekends ago for the three day weekend. i ended up not going home till saturday...cuz ryan's sister, two cousins, and one of their friends came up here on friday, valentine's day, and then we all went home the next afternoon. for valentine's day...me and ryan kept it pretty simple...i just got him a card..and he made me a cd. but it wasn't just a cd full of burned songs...he actually made me a song! his roommate has this program on his computer where you can make your own music...they have beats and sound effects and these other things that you use...then you can add your voice to it. haha...it was really sweet...and i was like cracking up almost the whole time that i was listening to it cuz it was full of inside jokes...and on the front of the cd case...he put a polaroid picture of himself at the computer while making the song...and on the label it said "the #1 song in the world for the next 30 years." haha...it was cool. anyways...later that night....mary and everyone else arrived at ryan's dorm...then we left to go to the club at around 11 and got there at like 11:30. it was supposed to be a party hosted by our samahang as a fundraiser. it was mine's and mary's first time clubbing...and mary was excited cuz her first time was gonna be at a club in hollywood. it was funny though...cuz as we were driving...we passed by all these like huge houses...and we were all like "whoa"...we even got on a little detour while looking for parking and passed by paramount pictures studio...but then when we got near the club...it was all in the ghetto! haha...geez...and when we got inside..there were barely even any people. it wasn't really good timing to have a party fundraiser thing...cuz it was the three day weekend and a lot of people went home. but yeah...so..a lot of you know how i am...and know that i am totally not the dancing type of person. i was expecting there to be a lot of people..and i would have felt more comfortable if it was really crowded...but it wasn't. so i did feel uncomfortable for a while...but then i guess i got into it...and it was alright...anyways...it ended at 2...and then after we went to denny's...and didn't get back to the dorms till like 4 or so. overall...it was an experience...something to remember. so yeah...we all go home that afternoon....i spend time with my family over the weekend which was nice...aww...my sisters are getting so big...they're so adorable! hah...so then we go back to la on monday (which was also 11 months for me and ryan =) )...ryan's mom drives us and two of our other friends. then i have school that week..which wasn't too bad i guess..since it was only four days then the weekend again. the following weekend i miss run thru's for pcn which would have been from 9 in the morning to 2 in the afternoon...and instead i go to p-town for my asian american studies class. for those of you who don't know what p-town is...cuz i sure didn't know about it until like lsat month...it stands for Pilipinotown...or "Historical Filipinotown" as it actually named. isn't that so cool?! i've always heard of these places like chinatown and little korea and all those places...and we have our own town too. but like our tour guide said...."whereever there's a pilipino..there's a pilipinotown..." which is true..just look at places like national city and paradise hills...there's like a million and a half filipinos there....but i don't know...i just think it's cool to have a place actually labeled as Filipinotown. anyways...when we got there...it was totally not what i expected. if i hadn't seen the signs or been on a tour...i would never have thought that the place was called Filipinotown. the town is about 30 minutes or so from ucla. and the majority of people in the town aren't even filipinos...they're latino. the thing is...the place is kinda in the ghetto...and it's a place where a lot of filipino immigrants go when they first come to the u.s ....but the thing is...once the filipinos start earning money...they tend to leave p-town to go to other places...cuz why would you want to stay in the ghetto...unless you wanted to help people out i guess. but yeah...i was expecting to see a whole bunch of filipino stores everywhere like red ribbon and places like that...and to see all these filipino walking around...but that's not what i saw. everything is really spread out too and not compact....so you just wouldn't think it was a "filipinotown." although i've never been to chinatown or anything...i do know that when you're there...you know you're in chinatown. there's chinese people walking around everywhere...it's really crowded...you see all the stores with there chinese writing...and you could just tell...p-town is different. that's what i had to do for my asian am paper...one of my partners went to chinatown and me and my other partner went to p-town...then we had to compare the two. we found a lot of differences....it was really interesting...and i'm glad that i got the chance to take a tour of the place. anyways...let me fast forward a little bit to now. ummm have a chem midterm on friday and my finals will be coming up soon...gosh i hate taking tests! but yeah...i think i should really get back to my work...i think i wrote a pretty long entry..haha...alright then...i'll catch you guys later...bye and take care everyone =)
