hey guys. i haven't written in here in a while due to massive amount of work school has brought upon me. haha...not really. but i did have midterms basically every week, so i've been studying...or trying to =/ i don't have much time to blog bc i have to start studying for my math midterm on wednesday...*sigh* "math is disgusting" ...haha.

i'm looking forward to the girls night out. it will be a way for me to take a break from school, just kick back, and relax. luckily, i don't have any midterms to study for that weekend!

CONGRATS again to joy c! and indeed it was a well deserved award! hope to see you sometime this weekend. =)

yesterday i went to ucsd's pcc (pilipino cultural celebration). it was pretty cool, interesting, and funny! after, we went to roberto's to get some good, but unhealthy mexican food..haha. thanks "oliver james" =P

anyway, GO TO PICTURES on the right hand side. there should be a picture from the something corporate concert back in feb, if not i'll fix it later. it's of renae, will (from something corporate), me, and joy. will's pretty cute, huh? that concert ROCKED. good times.... =) *i'll make copies of the picture for you guys, joy and renae!

hi hi. today was productive. i started off by getting my paycheck. whoo whoo. Went to deposit it at the bank. I'm so spoiled over there. Anyways, I don't know how to deposit money there. I'm always depending on my mom to do it, if not then my auntie does it, if not then my other auntie. =) I should learn how. Anyways, the Nsync song just popped into my head, 'just go paid, friday night, booty shaking.. something something' Everything is true in the song is true except, all the fun stuff in the song. Cause i'm stuck studying for my pre-cal final. Anyways, my mom's toe was bleeding today. My auntie was trying to tell me what happened, but i didn't believe her. I was just laughing, cause i thought it wasn't true. It was. Poor mom. She had to get a shot, and everything. So anyways. Called Kat when i got home. Picked up J.R. and went to the infamous SWC library. It's so perty. Then, we arrived there like 12:30 or so.. and overhead speaker said that the library is going to close at 1. We were like what the hell? What library closes at 1. I could understand, cause it was Friday and i don't think anybody studies on a friday, except if they have like a test or sumthing the next day. Like Us. Due to budget cuts, they close at one. Sucks. It's all a new library and it closes at one everyday, i think? so, we end up going to this other area on campus. trying to find another place, we pass edison. there is a show that's going on that features his stuff and other people. his pictures are too cool. so... anyways. then saw eduard, family friend. then studied got kicked out, cause it closed at two. so we got an hour of study time. then ended up going to cafe soulotto (sp?). it's weird, cause there is a vons and it has a starbucks inside. we were so intrigued by it, that we had to go inside to see it. anyways.. studied studied.. and sang songs. it's so pathetic cause we were listening to 96.5 and i knew basically all the songs. anyways.. good study time. okae. well, gtg. wish me luck on my pre-cal final, peace.

Hey. CONGRATS ON THE SCHOLARSHIP JOY =) I'm so proud of you!! Job well done. It sounds like you had an awesome time at pcn. Wish we could've been there to see you do ur thing!! Oh, when I was reading it I just had the biggest smile on my face, cause I was so happy for you. Especially the 1/4 picture of you in the newspaper. By the way, who wouldn't want the prettiest face in the newspaper to be the biggest one out of all of them. Anyways, I'm so happy to hear or read that u had great time. I can't wait to hear it all from you when u come down. Yeah, so.. congrats once again on ur scholarship. It was well derserved for a person like you. So..see ya soon! BYE.

hello all =) it's been a week or so since i last blog...and a very busy week indeed i might add. this past saturday was pcn...which was awesome! but in order to make it awesome...we had to have like a million hours of practice and run thrus. it really did take a lot of time to prepare for it and everything...but seriously in the end...it was all worth it. i've been able to meet such cool people...and it was truly an incredible experience. everyone here says that your first pcn is your most memorable...and i'm sure it will be. before i went out on to the stage to do my dance...i admit that i was nervous...the hall in which we had it was at its full occupancy...but once i started dancing...my nervousness went away. it helped that our dance is a serious one...and we're supposed to look straight ahead all the time...so i was able to avoid eye contact with people in the audience. ryan's performance was really great...he's on modern...the hip-hop group. ok...to avoid making this super long with details...i'll just say again that the rest of the night was great. my whole family wasn't able to go...since it would have been really hard for the babies to stay through a 4 hour show. my older brother and his girlfriend did go though...my brother was able to sneak in back stage to our dressing room somehow...they left before the show ended...but they got me flowers so that was nice. during intermission...i got presented with a scholarship with another guy who won. i applied for the samahang scholarship a week earlier...we had to write some essays and do a creative project and some other stuff...i'm not even sure yet how much the scholarship is...but i was just excited to get it. umm...afterwards...i was just so tired...there was an after party at someone's apartment after the show...but i was too tired....and decided to just go to the real after party on sunday...so i took pictures with some people...ate at puzzles (a take out dining hall type of thing that's opened till 2 near the dorms) then went to sleep. oh yeah and i saw grace! it was such a surprise...i wasn't expecting to see people from san diego. she went because rowell...her boyfriend's brother goes to ucla too. so yeah...all in all....good times =).

oh gosh...but on an embarrassing note...on friday...the day before pcn...our school newspaper had a photo story for pcn. about a week ago photographers from the paper came to one of our run thrus and set up a photo shoot...they didn't take any group pictures to go in the paper...cuz they said that the back drop wasn't big enough...so they just picked some people to take solo shots of. i was one of the people chosen to have my picture taken...and at first i didn't want to do it...but then later i was like "oh cool...my picture will be in the paper." geez...so friday...ryan calls me in the morning at like 8...he had to wake up early that day to do something for rotc...and he just starts laughing. it turns out...that my picture did make it in the paper...but it wasn't the wallet size photo that i thought it would be...it was like freaking 1/4 the size of the paper. they had only put like 4 pictures in...and mine was the biggest. when i got the paper...i could barely even look at my picture...it was so huge. all these people started coming up to me and IMing me and stuff...and i guess it's something to feel special about...but gosh...it was also embarrassing...haha

yeah but anyways...the next day on sunday was the pcn after party...it was at a club in santa monica. i wasn't even sure if i was gonna go...since i had an 8 o'clock class the next day....but last minute i decided to go. ryan encouraged me...and i also thought to myself that this was my first pcn...and i would have regretted not going. it started at 9...but of course no one would have been there that early...we got there around 11:30 or so. i had gone to a samahang party a couple months ago...it was my first clubbing experience...and it was not a really good one cuz barely anyone went. this one though was a lot better...cuz there were a lot more people and it just had a better vibe. i had saw people that were in pcn that morning before the party for brunch...and they were already in pcn withdrawal...so the party was more good times and it seemed like everyone had fun. it ended at 2...and we went to 711 afterwards...ryan was hungry and i wanted a slurpee =)...then when we got back to the dorms...i just knocked out at like 3...i was so tired that i didn't even go to any classes the next day. i had an 8 and 9 o'clock that i skipped...my friends are telling me that samahang is corrupting me...haha...funny...

ok...and now i'm at a mind block...it sucks getting back to school work. this past week i was so busy with pcn...that it almost seemed as if i was here just for pcn and not to do work. and now that it's over...it sucks to have to get back to reality. thanks to karen and joy for the shoutouts and the IMs. man...i haven't seen you guys in a long time. i'm most likely gonna go home this weekend...so good stuff...because it's mother's day...and i don't know when the next time will be that i go home...cuz the next couple weekends are gonna be busy with other stuff. i'll just catch up on that stuff later. but gosh...the "girls night out thing" sounds fun...i wish i could be there...but i hope you guys have fun =)...we'll plan another one for the beginning of summer or something. i'm tired now as usual...so i'm gonna end this here...bye all =)
