hi.
so it's official, i'm going to the dashboard confessionals concert! i'm draggin karen with me, cause she's the only one who would be want to go. The tickets are 20 each. First come first serve. I thought that it would be first come first serve at the concert. Earlier you go the better seats you get. But noo! It's first come first serve for the tickets. But's it's all good! We will TRY (the word is try) to move ourselves forward. This always happens. Everytime I want to see someone that I actually love to see, I always get the worst seats in the house. anywhoo..
i finally gave into temptation. I cut my hair. Yes, I should go to hair cutting anonymous. Hi, my name is Joy and I have a hair-cutting problem. I cut it short once again. It was already short, but i just cut it shorter. haha..despite being asked not to cut my hair, i did it anyways. such a rebel huh? I don't think I look nice with long hair anymore.
i had my first slurpee this summer. i was so happy. it's so much cheaper than boba. anywho, i had two within the last 72 hours.
yesterday. joy, steph and i went to mabell's grandma's viewing. It's tough going to these places. maryannne d. , mikee, and rommel were there. It sucks that we only see each other under these circumstances. after the viewing, we decided to go watch a movie. we wanted to watch American Wedding, but it was sold out.. and the next show was too late. So we were just driving around, and we ended up at seven eleven. Next thing you know, we have slurpee's in one hand and a bunch of junk food in the other. We decided to crash joy's house, and fill ourselves up with the yummy food. It was good times. anywho. i'll just end it here.
y'all have a good summer ya hear!!
...Hot Fudge Sundae...
we are three college JUNIOR girls from SD who love watching Saved by the Bell, and we thought it would be cool to be just like them...haha! well anyways happy reading!

well hello people. gosh it's been so long since i've written on this thing that i don't even know where to start. yes i know i've been neglecting this blog (sorry renwa and joyda)...i know i know...but it's just that my internet is so slow that i get too lazy or impatient to write in here. besides...i usually just fill this up with blabber...stuff that i don't think other people would really find interesting....but i'll give it a whirl and see if i could think of something that would be worth reading.
so yeah...it's already been over a month since i last wrote in here. man...even though my summer vacation is over 3 months long...which is quite long i might add...it's already about or almost half way done. time is going by so fast...as it usually does when you don't want it to. that's why time is a weird thing...when you want it to go fast it goes slow...and when you want it to go slow it goes fast...it just doesn't seem to want to work with you. anyways...first year of college is over...almost ready to start my second year. i really love san diego...it's so beautiful and so many of the people i love live here...but la is cool too. especially the freedom...i love it. just being able to go out at any time of the day and not having to report to someone about all your whereabouts feels good. but yeah...i'm sure other people can relate.
besides spending as much time as i can with family and friends while here in san diego over the summer...my biggest goal was to get a job....it would have been my first paying job ever in life (except if you count babysitting for cousins...which i don't really count). but do i have a job now....nope. a job would have helped me make good use of my time...since i'm not taking summer school...but things just didn't work out. eh...i try not to complain though...it's not really that i wanted to work...i just wanted the money ;). but i'm definitely getting a job during the school year...and besides...it's nice to be able to help out at home. my mom...being the super mom that she is and everything...has the job of taking care of my sisters all the time...plus handling other stuff...and it's a lot of things to handle i might add...she's one of the hardest working people that i know...so i feel it's not much to ask for me to help out as much as i can while i'm still here in san diego.
la la la la la...let's see what else to say. i'll try to do a quick recap of how some things that i have done so far this summer. i went to the del mar fair (san diego county fair) for the first time ever in life. good times i must say....of course it would be more fun if you had a lot of money to go on all the rides you want and eat all the food you want...but very good times nonetheless. and it's always nice seeing friends that i haven't seen in a long time...good stuff. along with the coolest girls ever...i've been doing all there is to do in san diego (haha...inside joke). hanging out with them is the greatest...i miss them when i go to school..but everytime i come back or talk to them...things are always the same...and i'm grateful. it sucks that they both have summer school...but it's good for them...they're so hardworking...getting their education on...something i'll be doing the next summers to come. i also hang out with ryan every time i get the chance. he's pretty busy with rotc right now...but it's all good...he's worth the wait. umm...last weekend i went swimming for the first time ever since last summer...my sisters went too...it was their first time...they had so much fun...they were smiling the whole time...good times indeed.
ok i think that's enough for now. i've come to a block. i know that i said that i'd try to write about interesting stuff...don't think i really accomplished that...but i did try. now seriously...i'll try to write in here more often...so until next time...bye =)
